We are a foster based Rescue. We depend solely on foster parents to save dogs. Do you have room in your home for a foster dog? Foster parents provide food, shelter, and love….that’s it! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q- Will the dog be housetrained?
A- Some are and some are not. We will provide you with resources and any advice needed for successful potty training.
Q- Who pays for medical expenses?
A- We do! We cover all costs including microchip, spay/neuter. and vaccines.
Q- What if I can only foster on a short term basis?
A- Although we prefer to have a 3 month commitment, short term fosters are also needed for emergencies. Let us know if you would lik to be added to our emergency foster list. Emergency fosters are from 1 – 7 nights.
Q- What happens if I fall in love with my foster dog?
A- “Foster failures” are more than welcome to adopt their foster dogs. Fostering is the best way to find the perfect dog for your family.
Some Foster duties may include:
- House training
- Basic dog obedience
- Transportation to/from vet appointments
- Transportation to/from adoption events
